Be my winter
When the days are shorter and the nights get longer
When the days are colder and the scent of the bakery across the street linger
Freezing rains of autumn stop and the last leaf falls on the rooftop
Feeling the bittersweet breeze on my bare skin
My soul reaches a melting point
Is it sickness or a craving, or something in between?
My cold hands warm remembering the touch that I enjoyed
Each snowflake whispers a million little stories
My mind wanders among those memories
Each snowflake lands freeing me from worries
My teeth chatter chanting broken melodies
Take my hand to get lost in this white wonderland
My cheeks explode of red
But you can see colours blast in a beautiful contrast
There's wind blowing towards me, is this filling feeling the key?
The soothing scent of steaming chocolate
There's a candle lighted and I'm unfrightened
Could spring exist without this season?
It takes my breath away to see the snow on a sunny day
It takes my breath away to see all lights play
Oh, to be someone's winter
